Description

Vermont Crepe and Waffle offers traditional savory and sweet crepes. Their savory crepes are likely not the dainty pale little dinner crepes that may come to mind, but are instead traditional, hearty buckwheat (which happens to be gluten-free) crepes, filled with local cheeses, meats and vegetables.

VC&W's chef, Lisa Cadow, trained in Brittany, France, to learn to the traditional way to prepare crepes, and had a crepe cart custom built. She brings the cart to events - VC&W does not have a fixed location.

In 2009 you can generally find Vermont Crepe and Waffle in front of the Hanover Town Hall, as well as at the Hanover Farmer's Market. On some Saturdays you may also find Lisa at the Killdeer Farm Stand in Norwich.
