It's not too soon for farmer's markets... greens, beets, ramps, fingerling potatoes and herbs are already available, not to mention prepared foods, baked goods, honey, maple syrup, eggs, meat and arts and crafts are all available at markets already.
A list of the start dates for local farmer's market follows:
The Canaan Farmer's Market begins on Sunday May 25th and runs from 10AM to 1PM.
The Enfield Farmer's Market doesn't begin until Wednesday July 2nd, and runs from 3PM to 6PM.
The new Hanover Farmer's Market kicks off its first year starting on Wednesday June 4th, also running 3PM to 6PM.
The Lebanon Farmer's Market starts on Thursday May 29th and runs from 4PM to 7PM.
The Woodstock Farmer's Market starts on Wednesday June 11th and runs from 3PM to 6PM.
The Norwich Farmer's Market has already started, and runs from 9AM to 1PM on Saturdays.
