Very 1970's-ish (bulky pine furniture & walls, wagon wheels & sickly plants). A long salad bar with lots of choices, but none of them especially interesting (eg: iceburg lettuce). Their prime rib used to be the best in the area, but now it's the worst (tough, stringy, fatty). Their wines are sooooo yesteryear.

When you first go into AJ's it looks like someplace your grandparents would go and more than likely they're probably there. The decor is stuck in the 1960's but the food is pretty good. There is a salad bar that's decent but if you go, you HAVE to try the Osso Bucco. It is the best thing I've had there. The meat just falls off the bone. My husband ended up eating half my meal it was so good. It inspired me to find Osso Bucco recipes to try to replicate it at home.
