In my experience Bentleys is inconsistent. I've had great food and great service and cold lousy food with terrible service (even though it was empty?).

The food and service at Bentleys has improved tremendously over the past year. Rumor is they have a new chef who is doing an excellent job. A great place to stop for a cold one and lunch or dinner.

Long known for its overpriced mediocre food, Bentley's now enjoys much competition for that status, so they are no longer unique in that respect. The only thing constant about Bentley's food is its inconsistency. Sometimes it's great; sometimes fair to good; others not. They happily & quickly replace unsatisfactory food. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. Caseybell's experience (below) doesn't surprise me, as some of their food prep takes place (or used to) in the grungy cellar.

PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE. They have cockroaches. I called the health inspector but they are still open. I drive by and feel sorry for the people in there. All it has going for it is location.

Bentleys used to offer a much higher quality of food and service than it seems to these days. We have, optimistically, eaten here three times over the last month and each time have been dissappointed. The service has been slow and sloppy, the food has been mediocre at best and the last time the whole place smelled bad. It really is unfortunate for a place with a history of providing pretty good food and service to let its quality slip. Hopefully they will rebound.

Bentley's offers good food in a relaxing atmosphere. The prime rib is highly suggested when on the menu. There can be quite a wait so be sure to make reservations.
