Convenient for a small twist cone on the way to the office. The sign blinks Dairy...Twirl...Dairy...Twirl all summer long, which is a nice bit of local culture. If you want better soft serve for lower prices, head to Fore-U, but Dairy Twirl is closer to Leb and you don't have to smell the trash dump or wait in huge lines during most of the summer like at Fore-U. The steps up to the window are a bit on the treacherous side, so folks with balance issues will want to skip it and there aren't enough tables, so expect to sit in the car or along the back fence footing with a view of the parking lot. I think it had a bit more charm before they re-did the parking lot with the big chain-link fence. The overflow seating isn't appropriate for kids, but they're going to be at the Fore-U playground anyway.

The Dairy twirl opens every year after mother's day and closes shortly labor day, so there is a small window of time to enjoy its blinking signs and cold treats. I agree with the other review that IceCream ForeU has a better menu with more variety and flavors. The soft-serve at Dairy Twirl is definitely good, but nothing to write home about. Kinda predictable and plain but not bad by any means. The central location in downtown leb right off the green is convienent for locals to walk to. I think that convienence is probably its greatest asset. Also I get a kick out of this being a "Great Late Night Place" yet closes at 9pm. Wow! Small town late night indeed =)

Location sucks, parking lot on a busy street, mainly soft-serve. Ice Cream Fore-U is better.
