I gave Golden Ming 5 stars because I think they're great at what they do: typical Americanized Chinese food, primarily takeout, prepared quickly and served hot at a reasonable price. My tastes run to the more exotic, but I appreciate the convenience and reliability of Golden Ming. It's a family-run business and they are friendly and eager to please their customers.

If you like your food spicy, be sure to tell them emphatically, and even then ask for hot sauce on the side. I have found this to be true at many Asian restaurants around here--they seem to tone the dishes (and the heat) down to suit the New England palate. They use fresh ingredients, though, and I don't think we've ever been disappointed with anything we've ordered.
