The Home Hill Inn has reopened, with a new menu and new management. We'll report back soon on the new Home Hill Inn.

Our old description was:

Certainly the most upscale of any restaurant in the area, The Home Hill Inn offered fine French cuisine as well as lodging. You could chose one of several Prix Fixe menus or order a la carte; either way you were in for a multi-hour gastronomic treat.

Possibly the only restaurant in the area where you might feel out of place if you weren't wearing a jacket or dress, The Home Hill Inn was always a bit of an odd fish, feeling somewhat too upscale for its environs. Still, the dining experience always delivered on the promise of its menu.

The Home Hill Inn closed suddenly in the winter of 2006 and the property was placed on the market.
