Decent place to get coffee and espresso drinks, but since Bagel Basement closed, the place is absolutely swamped with people. This is generally a good thing for their business, but they seriously need to hire another person for mornings. 15 minutes to get coffee and a bagel?!

Nice to have a place where you can get cappucino again. I like this place. The quickest thing for lunch is their turkey salad to go. Their panini is very good, especially the chicken, but it takes forever to get it. I know it's a small kitchen but they need to figure out how to get food out a little quicker. But I'll keep going back.

Four stars is high praise for a restaurant in the upper valley.

Jake's is a nice little place that is great for a quick breakfast or lunch. The food and pastries are tasty and well prepared and the staff is quick and cheerful. As another reviewer mentioned, the coffee needs a little work, but that will probably come with time as they have been better recently. This is definitely a good place to try and worth the drive if you are coming from Centerra like I am.

Wonderful to have a new coffee shop in the area. Drive-up is nice. Staff still needs to work on making the espresso drinks -- highly variable in quality. Probably (hopefully) just a matter of time. Pastries are good, though selection seems to vary widely day to day.
