I enjoy Koto. The hibachi tables are fun for a larger group, but for an intimate dinner ask to sit in a tatami room. It's private behind a sliding rice paper screen. You remove your shoes and sit on cushions around the low table, and there's a well beneath for your legs/feet. When the server comes, she taps on the screen before sliding it open. It's a lot of fun for a romantic dinner or for a small group.
I have been generally pleased with their sushi, though I think Yama does it a little better. There have been times, though, when Koto has blown me away with amazingly fresh sushi. Koto also does a great job with their bento box lunches--they are reasonably priced and you get a lot of food. They also serve lunch fairly late so it's a great place to go while you're out shopping on 12A.

Great place to bring the kids, foods always good. Hard to find waitress for a second round of drinks, this strange phenomenon
has happended several times with them. Very expensive.

Koto main attribute is entertainment. The food is your standard Japanese steak house food so nothing spectacular here. The service was sparce when we went. We had to go to the reception desk to find our server on two different occasions during one visit.

The hibachi tables are the only way to go here! Fun to watch the chefs prepare the food right in front of you, while twirling knives, doing tricks with food and scaring the hell out of little kids with a huge flame! We like the atmosphere and the food, service is good too.

Not quite as good as Yama, but definitely some of the better sushi in the area. The hibachi tables are good for large groups or kids but the food's better a la carte from the menu.

I really like the bento boxes at lunch.

This is where we go when we want to treat ourselves a little. We usually each get miso soup, salad, and a special sushi roll. The food is very good. It does cost more, but it's worth it.
