One of the better Chinese food the palces in the area with friendly staff - worth the drive. Prices are very reasonable and you get a large amount of food.

Let's face it, the Upper Valley is filled with all sorts of mediocre Chinese places (mostly since we don't have a large Asian population, so there is little demand for the "good stuff").

Ming China is at least a notch above your typical Northern New England "Chinese" place, however, since we found that while the menu is mostly your typical Americanized Chinese food with too-sweet sauces, they at least do a very good job at it. The ingredients are fresh, the food all made to order (we watched them make ours from scratch), and the service friendly.

The two dishes we had, Orange Beef and Triple Crow (beef, chicken, & shrimp stir fried w. selected vegetables) were good, fresh, and very tasty.

Definitely a notch above the other local Chinese places down in and around Newport.
