Description

If you're not familiar with gelato, consider it to be a form of ice cream. It's Italian in origin, and made slightly differently from American ice cream. Gelato has less fat, generally less sugar, and yet is usually denser and richer than American ice cream.

Morano Gelato offers the first locally made true gelato in the Upper Valley. Operated by Morgan Morano, Morano Gelato currently operates from Rosie Jeke's Cafe in Hanover.

You can also pick up pre-packed containers of Morano Gelato at Killdeer Farm Stand in Norwich and Stella's in Lyme.

Their flavors change weekly.
