I believe this location is now closed again. However, I stopped going to this location after I got the RUDEST service in my life, this woman working there was so mean. When I wrote the email address to complain I heard nothing back. Bad customer service is probably why this business tanked.

Boring! Although the bagels were very fresh, the menu offered the same old, same old. I'll buy my bagels at Price Chopper.

New York Bagels has some really great bagels and sandwiches, I especially love the Maple Walnut Cream Cheese on cinnamon/rasin bagels. The place is clean and very inviting. But and this is a huge BUT. Sanitation has a lot to be desired at the sandwich making board. The first time I went in there a few months ago, the girl sweeping put down her broom and dust pan, walked over to wait on me. She put on gloves and put my bagel in to toast. The she picked up the broom and dust pan and moved them out of her way (still in gloves), picked up my bagel and put cream cheese on it, wrapped it up, put it in the bag and handed it to me, (yea that isn't going to happen). When I mentioned this to her, and said I wanted a different one, made with new gloves, I got a little attitude.
I haven't been in for a while. I went in this morning, a gentlemen waited on me. I ordered my bagel with (of course) maple walnut cream cheese, he had come from out back with papers in his hands, took a paper from the box by the bagels grabbed the bagel, put in the slicer, cut it put it in the toaster and then made my bagel with the cream cheese. Nice job....not, where are your gloves! He hadn't washed his hands. Who knows where he came from, or where those papers have been that he had in his hands when he came up front. This place is almost as bad as Dunkin Donuts when it comes to handliing food, (but that's another whole disgusting story). With diseases and the flu going around, we should demand better handling of food that we are paying good money for.

This is a good reason to never walk through the door at Panera ever again! Much better selection of breakfast sandwiches including Taylor Ham- add it to your list of things to try if you've never had it. Lunch sandwiches and bagels come with healthy doses of meat and other toppings. With a selection of muffins, soups, and daily specials, there will always be something new and delicious to try.

Checked it out for lunch. Not really impressed. Bagel dog not very good and the only think greek about the "greek" salad was the feta cheese. I will go back and try a bagle with cream cheese, but for a quick and good lunch in Wleb I'll stick to Panera bread.

I walked into New York Bagel and Cafe with my three kids expecting to just get some bagels. I was pleasantly surprised to see an extensive menu that would not just cater to me but my finicky three children as well. I was able to get much more than just the bagels we originally set out for. I enjoyed a Cody and each one of my kids (ages 9, 7, and 5) were able to get something completely different to satisfy them as well. What I liked was that I didn't feel like they were eating something junky. A great place to eat with a variety of fresh options. I will definitely be back.

I was there for there for the opening on Friday and enjoyed it so much returned again on Saturday. Excellent food, excellent atmosphere! A definite go-to place. I ordered a salad and a veggie wrap, but was able to try a variety of items thanks to their samplings...all delicious. I am looking forward to returning.

I am pretty sure that the bakery at Price Chopper
boils their bagels first before baking. I saw them
doing it one time.
