I can't imagine how a PYO blueberry place could be better. Big, juicy, gorgeous plump berries, well-tended, well-priced (their lack of overhead winds up back in your pocket). We have a few bushes of the same species at our house just a few miles away and they don't produce nearly as well. We pick at Noda's all summer, eating most but putting some up to last us through the next spring. May and June can be tough months as we usually run out by then.

Just cut down my Christmas tree at the farm with a friend - got a great tree, and the best: it was NOT a perfectly shaped tree like all the trees are these days. BUT it was the perfect tree! It was wonderful walking on the Noda's land, looking at many trees, finding the right one and putting my money in a box. This brings the spirit of the holidays back! Thank you!

Noda farm is an exceptionally lovely place. You cannot help but leave feeling uplifted by the peaceful setting. It is obviously tended to by a gentle and gifted farmer who knows how to bring out the best in both plants and people.

Twice yearly, the Noda Farm features the results of Lafayette Noda's long experience as a farmer: during the summer, honor-system blueberries, and in the winter, honor-system Christmas trees. Both clearly show his expertise and care, and both were essential landmarks to our calendar year when we were living in the Upper Valley.
