I think most of the people on this site have misunderstood Oriental Wok Express - this place is a local favorite among Chinese students at neary ivy league school Dartmouth College because they have a secret Chinese language Specials menu that you can ask for. The special menu offers dishes that most Americans will be unfamiliar with, and the chef's prepare the dishes extremely well.

The "Authentic Asian Dishes" menu is on the counter. They will give you a copy if you ask. The items I've tried from the list have been very good. Depending on how familiar you are with some of dishes you may want to inquire. While tasty the Sweet Sour Baby Ribs are "button" ribs or "riblets" sized pieces. The shrimp used in the Shrimp with Ginger Sauce are shell on shrimp, very traditional way of preparing. The Ma Po Tofu is very good. Not sure if I'll try the Pig Ear or Beef Tripe dishes though its good that we have that option.

I'll have to agree, this in one of the better Chinese food places around here (although with the general state of Chinese food here, that could be considered "damning with faint praise"). Same problems as many other local places: sauces that are too sweet or too salty, but they take a lot more care in served nicely crisped food and not oversaucing.
