I'm not going to eat at Panera again. They've yet to get my order correct, and I haven't exactly challenged them with something that isn't on the menu. Last time I ordered a breakfast sandwich and ended up with a cold egg, undercooked bacon, and a cold 1/4 slice of cheese on the wrong kind of bagel. I took a bite, threw it out, and walked out. I don't expect a lot from a chain "restaurant" but a warm breakfast sandwich doesn't seem to tall of an order to me. From now on I'll go to New York Bagels across the street for a freshly prepared sandwich that wasn't sitting around before I ordered it.

Walked in there with my kids and they couldn't find anything they wanted to eat, so I got some soup to go...it was o.k. Doesn't appear to have a lot of variety. I greatly prefer New York Bagels and Cafe...which is where I went next to feed them something decent.

Freshest salads in the UV. One of the few places that offer good strong coffee, and several choices of very yummy breads. Interesting sandwich menu. Pastries are fair. Their lattes, cappucinos etc. are way too sweet. They are a little slow about cleaning off the tables between customers. Best "chain" food around.

The "laptop thing" may be a problem taking up table space but the chewy bread is "to die for" and if the mood calls for a great sandwich or salad, this is the place.

A reliably good place to get decent food. Unique sandwiches and great soups that come in bread bowls. Perhaps the best "fast food" chain restaurant in the Upper Vally. When it gets crowded it becomes fairly loud, finding a place to sit can be difficult and the line can be discouraging...sometimes they are a victim of their own success.

They have a nice variety of decent sandwiches and salads. Their pastries are okay; you can find much better local pastries. A bagel and an egg thingie are a nice breakfast, but watch out, the calories add up fast.

Free wifi is nice too.

Most people don't seem to realize that you can order anything at any register. If the sandwich line is really long you can order your sandwich at the pastry counter. Shhh... don't tell everyone!

This is our preferred place to eat breakfast in West Leb. However, I almost always get the Asiago cheese bagel as they usually have samples of them as you stand in line and it tastes so good, I have to get it. The coffee is good too, and I've tried a few other treats. It is sometimes crowded and when that happens the line can be pretty annoying, then finding a place to sit can suck too.

Pro: they have a big binder full of well-organized nutritional information about their breads. They keep it under the counter, and if you ask they will let you see it. I wish more places would do that. This is one of the few chain restaurants where I'm willing to eat.

Con: free wifi means that booths and 4-tops are often clogged with single laptop users. Meh.

Panera: 3 stars
Assholes with laptops: no stars
