Reopened under new ownership with the same name, I thought I'd give it a few months to try it. I was there for dinner 12/30/11 with 3 others. Decor was warm and even though we arrived at 4:50 (opens at 5 for dinner), we were warmly greeted and seated immediately. I can't say enough about our waitress. She was knowledgeable, bubbly, accomodating and very attentive. While I would have loved to introduced myself to the owners, I chose not to because I was hosting clients. Dinner was fantastic! I had assumed that any Italian restaurant would have a decent Ceasar salad and I often juge the quality of an Italian resto by the quality of thier Ceasar, Salubre did not offer one. They have something similar. For the main course, I had the specail Pork Steak with home made sausage. OMG, the homemade sausage was to die for. perfectly seasons and just the right snap. The pork steak was a thick cut and alas, it suffered from the thinkness - slightly over cooked and slightly dry. It did serve to balance the full flavor of the sausage, however. All in all, it was a great meal and we will defintiely be back. The full bar was a great compliment! Limoncello!
