A stalwart standby. The food is consistantly good, even very good, but rarely great. The staff is wonderful, and the service attentive and friendly. It's a safe but good bet for a nice dinner. One does pay for the aura and the view, but it isn't stuffy about it.

My wife and I enjoyed our first anniversary at Simon Pearce. We got a table overlooking the falls. The food was excellent and the staff was great. Even with all the positives it still felt a bit overpriced. We'll be back, but only for special occassions.

We go to Simon Pearce frequently for special occasions. The food, ambiance, and service is always fantastic! If you get a seat overlooking the waterfall, it will be a wonderful experience for sure. The only thing I wish they would do more of is change up their menu. They have had basically the same dishes for the last couple years each time we've gone, and it would be nice to have more surprises when we open our menus.

Consistently excellent food and ambiance. Relaxed atmosphere. Clean. Staff are well-informed and enthusiastic; never pompous. Parking can be difficult during busy times (bring your roller blades).

By far one of our favorite places to go. Lunch prices are more affordable and the food is always reliable and excellent. For locals I would suggest trying to avoid "peeper" season when tourists are in abundance.

My favorite restaurant in the area by far, my choice for any kind of celebration. The food is consistently excellent. The ambiance and service couldn't be better. If you have to wait, there is always the showroom to window shop in. The wine-tasting events are worth the trip. Sign up for their e-mail notices.

The food and the service at Simon Pearce is exceptional. I would suggest making reservations for a table overlooking the water right before sunset. This is definitely a place I would bring friends or family for a special occasion.

This is the place to go with that someone special, they were very accommodating for birthday plans I had made, plus you can shop the glassworks store before or after dinner. We had a geat seat that literally overlooked the falls... oh yeah, the food is incredible too!

A dining experience as carefully crafted as Simon Pearce's renowned glass work, with a low-key, elegant ambiance; a real treasure.

Beautiful. Go in the Winter when you need extra nuturing and romance. The buildlng is especially cosy at night and the food and wine list are well worth the trek.

This is a great romantic place to take someone for dinner or even lunch. The only downside is that during high tourist seasons (mid-summer, leaf-season) it tends to be a bit crowded with vacationers.

Sharing the building with the Simon Pearce glassworks and with a stunning river view from the dining room, the space has the feel of a working mill transformed into elegant retreat.
The duck and the creme brulee are perfect and the wine list is fantastic. This is elegant country dining at its finest -- the perfect place for a long, luxurious meal with friends or family.

Dinners can be a very long affair. The food is excellent, some of the very best you'll find in the area. Service is also excellent. It's a great place for a special dinner.

Lunches are wonderful, and not as much of a production as the dinners... also priced reasonably for what you're getting.

Reliably good food. Not a good place to go if you're pressed for time, but an excellent place to take your mother.
